Our original mission statement. Although we never quite got to the touring stage, this was the dream of putting it all on the line and getting out on the road, the airwaves, and any medium that would help us spread the good word of The Augustine Reunion.
lyrics
Turn the headlights on
That damn transmission’s gone
But we’re gonna get so far away from here
This tired town
Grown up, so different now
I’m heading west without no tears
And as the road lines start to blur
We keep on moving on
Because their ain’t no going home
Calling all wires west
Out in the darkness
Sending all my best
Out on all wires west now
Girls in cheap perfume
Dive bars and hotel rooms
Hitting each and every truck stop on the way
Turn the house lights down
Pack up and leave this town
And get miles and miles away
By the time I’m missing home
We’re halfway on our way
But every time I hit that stage
Calling all wires west
Out in the darkness
These sins that I confess
Out on all wires west now
**
Calling all wires west
Out in the darkness
Sending all my best
Out on all wires west now
Calling all wires west
Out in the darkness
These sins that I confess
Out on all wires west now
